Our editorial standards
saas.pet is built on honest, hands-on reviews. We write about AI tools based on real usage, not vendor pitches.
How we pick tools
- Community votes — every tool is ranked partly by votes from real users.
- Trending data — daily top performers from GitHub, Product Hunt, and Hacker News.
- Editorial review — we test or research the tool, then write a first-person review.
- Auto-discovery — for long-tail categories, our AI search engine can discover new tools based on user queries. Every auto-discovered tool is verified before being indexed.
How we write reviews
Every review on saas.pet follows the same structure:
- What the tool does and who it's for
- Real pricing (from the vendor's website, not affiliate data)
- Strengths and weaknesses, written by a person who has used it
- Honest verdict — what kind of user should pay for it, and who should not
What we don't do
- We do not publish sponsored content without labeling it as sponsored.
- We do not auto-generate reviews without human review.
- We do not change reviews retroactively at the request of vendors.
- We do not rank tools higher because they pay us.
Corrections policy
If we get something wrong, we correct it openly. Corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected page with a date stamp.
